2017 Honda Accord

The 2017 Accord continues to be a staple in Honda’s impressive model line-up. With three different models sharing the nameplate; a coupe, a sedan, and a hybrid, and an assortment of trim levels, there is an Accord for everyone. The coupe and sedan both are available with a four or six-cylinder engine option. The four-cylinder, is a 2.4 liter 185-hp engine that is available in either a manual or continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT.) While the V-6 is a 3.5 liter 278-hp automatic engine that is only available on the EX-L and Touring Models and a manual in the EX-L V-6 coupe.

The 2017 model has brought back an Accord model and introduced a new one.  After a short break the Accord Hybrid sedan is back.  It comes with a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder and two AC motor/generators to produce 212 horsepower.  Honda has also added the Sport Special Edition to the line-up which adds heated leather seats with read stitching and is available in either a six-speed manual or CVT.

Whether you are cruising up I-5 or to and from soccer games the Accord comes equipped to meet all your needs such as dual-zone automatic climate control, wheel-mounted audio and cruise control, Bluetooth, and a rearview camera standard even on the LX models. Honda Sensing is also available on all trim levels excluding the vehicles that have manual transmissions.

Honda Lane Watch uses a small camera and displays live video when signaling to the right, which reveals nearly four times more view than the passenger side mirror does. With HondaLink, connecting your compatible mobile device has never been more efficient. HondaLink makes it easy to stream music, access social media and even schedule service appointments.

Safety Features

Honda Sensing is the new suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies on Accord. It is designed to alert you to things you might miss while driving. With the Lane Keeping Assist System your vehicle will adjust the steering to bring you back into the middle of your lane if you stray from the center. With the Road Departure Mitigation System, the Accord can detect road markers with a small camera, and alert you if you are about to leave the road.
