The 2018 Nissan Frontier continues the 3rd generation Frontier’s legacy of dependability and reliability. The 2018 Nissan Frontier’s full-length boxed ladder frame is built for solid performance whether you are cruising the highway or driving up a back mountain road.

The Frontier is built to WORK. While it is a small pickup, it gets stuff done! With 261 hp and 281 lb-ft of torque in the Frontier’s available 4.0-liter V6 engine it is ready to help you tackle those tough jobs. If you are looking for a bit better gas mileage; the 2018 Frontier is also available with a 2.5- liter inline-4 – paired with a 5-speed manual (19 city/ 23 highway/21 combined.*)

There are many options to configure your Frontier. The 2018 Nissan Frontier has two different cab variations; the Crew Cab provides seating for 5 and the King Cab has spacious doors to get to in the back cabin. The Frontier is available as a 4x2 or 4x4 and dependent on trim level. Depending on your driving preference; 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission is paired with the 2.5-liter inline-4 or a 6-speed/5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission available to drive the V6. There are SO many choices!

And all of these configurations are available in one of the five trim levels; S, SV, Midnight Edition (available on Crew Cab SV 4x4 and 4x2s), Desert Runner, SL and Pro-4X. With the King Cab the pickup’s bed is 73.3 inches, while the Crew Cab is available with either 59.5 inches or 73.3 inches. The Frontier has been rated for towing between 6,450 and 6,710 with the V6 engine and about 3,500 with the 4 cylinder1.

Technology

Frontiers come standard with the NISSANCONTECT with Navigation and Mobile Apps. Drivers have hands-free technology at their fingertips that will pair with their smartphones. Bluetooth ® Hands-free Phone System and Hands-free Text Messaging Assistant will keep you connected. A 12-volt DC power outlet or one of the two auxiliary plugs allows you to charge all your devices.

 

Safety Features

The Frontier is equipped with Nissan Advanced Air Bag System, Driver and Front-passenger Seat-mounted Side-impact Air Bags, Roof-mounted Curtain Side-impact Supplemental Air Bags, a review camera to see what is behind you while backing, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Anit-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD).
